Dressing for play
In the colder months
Dress your child in 3 layers. The base layer (long underwear). The warm layer, If your child gets cold easily double up on the warm layer. The waterproof layer, and finally wellies, warm socks, scarfs/snoods & gloves!
In the warmer months
Hot weather calls for simple, easy outfits with a minimum of layers. Lose the onesie under your toddler’s shorts and tees to cool things down. Layer on the sunblock, include a hat, sunglasses & waterproof sandals! Wise to bring spare clothes and a towel for all the water play!

ABOUT US
I am Jessie and I have a (very long) background in Marketing and TV production! Once I had my first baby, I wanted to create something that I could be proud of, that fitted in with my new life with Archie and channelled my passion for storytelling. Mini Mudders is my ultimate production! Mark is my husband, an engineer by trade, he looks at things through a different lens making our play equipment not only well thought out, but unique to Mini Mudder’s! We have worked together to develop and create Mini Mudder zones that we are super proud of, and we will continue to produce new ideas to keep our site fresh and fun!Archie is our amazing toddler and chief product tester! Let’s face it he is the wonderful reason we are doing this!Clearly our site is designed around our Mini Mudder’s, but we have not forgotten the adults and promise you great coffee and treats to ensure you enjoy your time with us just as much as your Mini Mudders! Plus, we’re both coffee and cake lovers too :-)
We hope you’ve enjoyed learning a little bit about us. We can’t wait to welcome you all to Mini Mudders, Love The McGregor’s

As a modern business, it’s our duty to stand for more than just profit.
We are committed to our strategy to be ‘for’ the local Community, this is our commitment to enrich and encourage more green time and less screen time.
We believe that taking children outdoors and supporting their play is also helping their development. As long as children lack awareness and so fail to see patterns in nature, negative human impacts in nature, or inequalities in human communities, they will not be capable of responding and acting sustainably.

In children’s learning outdoor education is seen as an optimal means of learning. Young children need the opportunity to use their whole body and develop their gross motor skills.

Getting outdoors encourages a healthy lifestyle. Through physical activity and challenges, being outdoors helps children sleep, eat, and live more healthily. This encourages them to form healthy habits for life.

Playing outdoors is a brilliant way to get out in nature and become aware of the environment. Children who gain knowledge and appreciation of nature are more likely to become aware adults.

Our Mission is clear
We’re dedicated to learning through play, protecting the planet, and working together.

We re-invest in the company each year to improve the facilities to support learning through play
We pledge to always put the interests of people and planet ahead of shareholder gain. We reinvest back into the business, to keep building on the equipment we use to teach children about the world around them, to create positive social change for the future. We are committed to doing the right thing with our approach to business.
